Customer Bulletin on E20 fuel
Toyota Kirloskar Motor restates its Customer First position on E20 fuel for vehicles built before and after 1 April 2023, including warranty and fuel-efficiency notes.
Aligning to its Customer First Philosophy, Toyota Kirloskar Motor remains steadfast in its commitment to customers and will continue to deliver reliable, world-class, safe and sustainable mobility solutions that contribute to India’s Energy self-reliance and carbon neutral goals. Vehicles manufactured in India from 1 April 2023 are fully E20 material compliant. For vehicles sold prior to that date, the owner’s manual specified E10 because that was the notified fuel at the time of sale; TKM states those vehicles are capable of accommodating E20, with validation referenced to ARAI testing. Fuel efficiency can vary with driving style, traffic, climate, fuel quality, tyre pressure, and service schedule.
